Kia Ora!

For the fourth year in a row, we gathered online and in-person to celebrate playing games with friends and family.

For 2023, my wife and I travelled to New Zealand, where our daughter was spending her gap year.

The 21-hour time difference with California meant I had to be more strategic as to what day of the festival we celebrated.

But we’re able to get a game in each day of our travels!

The highlight was getting to play “Te Reo Māori,” a fantastic memory game to learn the Mãori language.
